A dull moment is never experienced when teaching pre-teens and teens!

Teaching at TAA is a privilege and a joy.  I’ve watched the students change and grow in many positive ways during the 4 years that I’ve taught them.  Often, former students visit me at school and I’m proud to see the fine Christian young adults each of them have become.

About Lucretia Edmister and her class:

TAA has been a part of my life for many years.  Both my son and daughter attended TAA before I began teaching there in 1997.  My days and the students’ days are full and busy.  Each day begins with worship: a special reading or story, prayer requests, and prayer.  I teach language arts, bible, and keyboarding to 7th & 8th graders; and English and yearbook to 9th & 10th graders.  In my language arts and English classes, the students read wholesome literature.  For example, the 7th & 8th graders just finished reading The Miracle Worker, the story of Helen Keller’s life.  Also, the students study vocabulary, spelling, writing, grammar, and usage and mechanics.  We also enjoy field trips that enhance what we’ve studied in class.
Boredom is not a word in our vocabulary!
