Teaching has been one of my dreams since I was a little girl. I attended Adventist schools from first grade all the way through receiving my master's degree from Southern Adventist University. I value our Adventist schools and want to see our church continue to grow by leading our children into a lasting relationship with Christ. I enjoy making the Bible come alive through the use of some interactive Bible lessons. Making Christ number one is the goal of my classroom. And I strive to bring Him into all areas of the curriculum.

 

I am very excited about joining the Tampa Adventist Academy team. I look forward to working with the students here. Students are individuals and I enjoy teaching them at their level. Through the use of reading and math workshops, students receive the support they need to help them grow and be challenged. Hands-on learning is a strategy I enjoy bringing into my classroom. You may find us engaged in simulations where we roll-play a certain time period in history, or busy doing experiments in science. I am a life long learner and it is my desire to make learning enjoyable for my students so that they too will have a desire to continue to learn throughout their lives.
