Welcome to Mrs. Wyatte's Kindergarten Page!

I can't tell you how blessed I feel to be teaching kindergarten at Tampa Adventist Academy. I know how important these early years are, particularly in kindergarten, where children are making the transition to formal learning.  I believe strongly in teaching children in a developmentally appropriate way, that teaches and encourages them to explore, create, discover, problem solve, be independent, and be part of a school family.  In kindergarten, children begin to learn the foundations of later academics by learning reading, writing, and math in motivating and meaningful ways.  Most importantly, I get to teach them about God's great love for each of us and help them to see His hand all around them.  My goal is to set the stage for them to be lifelong learners and followers of Christ.  I am blessed and excited to be able to start this journey with them.

A little bit about me:  I am not only a proud teacher of TAA, but also a parent.  My son just started his journey at TAA and my daughter has been on hers for seven years.  My husband was a student here and TAA has long since been a tradition in our family.  TAA has truly been a blessing to us.  Prior to moving to TAA, I taught preschool special needs for Hillsborough County Schools for 13 years.

Please check back soon for an updated class schedule.
